Outsourced accounting operations for UAE businesses

Most UAE businesses do not have an accounting problem. They have a process problem. The work sits with one or two people, nothing is written down, and the close slips until the auditor rebuilds the year at year-end. We run your accounting as seven defined processes, each with an owner, a written procedure and a cycle time. The month closes in five working days. Your VAT return, your Corporate Tax filing and every report you make decisions on come off that ledger.

What we do

Seven processes, each with an owner and a cycle time

Monthly Accounting & IFRS-Aligned Financial Reporting

Record to Report (R2R)

  • General Ledger, Reconciliations & Accruals
  • Payroll Accounting & End-of-Service Provision
  • Intercompany Reconciliation
  • Five-Day Close & IFRS Financial Statements

Your close runs to a published sequence with a named owner on each step. Reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, payroll postings, end-of-service provisions and intercompany balances are worked in a fixed order rather than chased in parallel at the end of the month. We close in five working days from cut-off, against data delivery dates agreed with you at onboarding. Financial statements are prepared on your agreed reporting basis, and your auditor receives the same working papers we used, so year-end becomes a review instead of a rebuild.

Accounts Payable, Receivable & Cash Flow Management

Order to Cash (O2C)

  • Invoicing & Billing Accuracy
  • AR Ageing & Credit Control
  • Collections on a Schedule
  • Cash Application & DSO Reporting

Collections work when somebody owns them and follows a schedule. We raise invoices correctly the first time, keep the ageing current, and chase on set dates instead of when the balance gets noticed. Receipts are applied against the right invoice, so the ageing you are looking at is the real one. Every day you take off your collection cycle is a day of revenue back in your account, and we report the number monthly so you can see whether it is moving.

Readiness Assessment & Gap Analysis

Procure to Pay (P2P)

  • Approval Matrix & Delegation of Authority
  • Three-Way Match Before Payment
  • Duplicate & Overpayment Controls
  • Payment Runs & Supplier Statement Reconciliation

Suppliers get paid once, on time, for what was actually received. We set an approval matrix that matches how you already delegate authority, match invoices against purchase orders and receipts before anything is scheduled, and run payments on a defined cycle. Supplier statements are reconciled every month, so a dispute surfaces while it is still small. Final approval stays with you. We build the controls around it.

Monthly Accounting & IFRS-Aligned Financial Reporting

Treasury, Cash & Weekly Reporting

  • Weekly Cash Position
  • Cheque Preparation & Post-Dated Cheque Schedule
  • Bank & Facility Reconciliation
  • Weekly AR and AP Ageing Pack

Cash decisions happen weekly, so the reporting does too. Every week you get your cash position, the cheques due for preparation, the post-dated cheque schedule, and your receivables and payables ageing. Bank accounts and facilities are reconciled on the same cycle. You go into payroll week and supplier week knowing what will clear, rather than finding out on the day.

Multi-Entity Consolidation & Group Reporting

Inventory, Cost of Sales & Fixed Assets

  • Stock Counts & Valuation Basis
  • Cost of Sales, Wastage & Variance
  • Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation
  • Capex & Capitalised Work in Progress

Gross margin is only as reliable as your stock count and your cost postings. We set the count discipline, value stock on a consistent basis, and post cost of sales so margin by outlet, project or product line is a number you can act on during the year. Fixed assets sit on a register that ties to the ledger, with additions, disposals, depreciation and capitalised work in progress recorded as they happen instead of reconstructed for the auditor.

Expense Management & Corporate Spend Controls

Expense Management

  • Corporate Cards & Spend Limits
  • Policy Applied at the Point of Spend
  • Receipt Capture & Coding
  • Budget Against Actual by Cost Centre

Spend controlled where it happens costs less to fix than spend reviewed a month later. We set limits and policy on corporate cards, capture receipts at the transaction, and code expenses to the cost centre and project they belong to. Budget against actual is reported by owner, so the conversation happens with the person who spent the money while they still remember why.

ERP Implementation, Migration & Integrations

Master Data Management

  • Customer, Supplier & Item Masters
  • Chart of Accounts Design
  • TRN & Counterparty Data
  • E-Invoicing Data Readiness

Every report you rely on is built on your customer, supplier and item records. We clean and control that data, design a chart of accounts that reports the way you actually manage the business, and keep TRN and counterparty details current. Master data also becomes a compliance issue in 2027. Under Ministerial Decision 244 of 2025, businesses above AED 50 million in revenue go live on e-invoicing on 1 January 2027, and a wrong TRN or a missing buyer Peppol ID means a rejected invoice at AED 100 each.

Why Finline

Why UAE businesses move their accounting operations to Finline

CFO-Led, Not Bookkeeper-Led

Industry-Specific Accounting Expertise

Your processes are designed and reviewed by a senior finance professional with more than 30 years running finance functions and shared service operations across multi-entity groups. That work is not delegated to a junior following a template. Every engagement has a named reviewer and a named backup, both disclosed at onboarding, so your close does not depend on one person being available in a given week.

The Month Closes in Five Working Days

Month-End Close Speed = Decision Speed

The close runs to a published calendar. You get the sequence, the owner of each step, and the dates we need information from you, all agreed in writing at onboarding. Five working days from cut-off is the standard the process is built to hit. Numbers that arrive three weeks after cut-off describe a month you can no longer influence.

Your Reporting Basis Is a Decision

Audit & Compliance Built-In

Most providers prepare whatever their template produces. We choose the basis with you and tell you what you are entitled to use. Ministerial Decision 114 of 2023 requires full IFRS above AED 50 million in revenue and permits IFRS for SMEs at or below it. We also confirm whether you need audited statements, which Decision 84 of 2025 requires of every tax group and Qualifying Free Zone Person.

The Foundation Your Tax and Reporting Sit On

Working Capital Optimization = Real Cash Impact

Your VAT return, your Corporate Tax filing, your management pack and every dashboard you open are drawn from this ledger. When the process behind it is undocumented and the close is late, nothing built on top of it can be relied on, and adding more reporting will not fix it. We build the operating layer first. Tax and compliance then reconciles to one set of books, and management reporting has something solid underneath it.

Technology We Operate, and You Own

Integrated Technology, Not Bolted-On Systems

An optional pre-configured cloud ERP, document capture on incoming invoices, and corporate cards for spend control, all configured and run by us so you are not managing a software project alongside your business. The licences, the chart of accounts, the process documentation and the data stay in your name. If you take the function in-house or move provider, the system and the documentation go with you and you can leave without rebuilding anything.

Capacity Without Headcount

Extension of Your Team, Not a Vendor

When volume rises or the books are behind, we add dedicated resources into your existing process rather than asking you to hire. They work to the same written procedures under the same reviewer, so the output holds as the volume changes. This is how backlogs, system migrations and high-volume transaction processing get cleared without putting a permanent cost on your payroll.

Not sure where your accounting operations actually stand?

Book an Accounting Operations Review. We walk your order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and close processes, test a month of transactions, and hand you a written findings memo: where the process breaks, what it is costing you in cash and close days, and what to fix first. Fixed scope, five working days.
